Day 71.

Evening update:

Jacky boy had a great day today. Lots of play, lots of smiles, lots of food and two solid naps.

Oh and… Mom and I actually managed to get some packing and organizing done at the apartment in the morning while Matt did therapy with Jack! T-2 weeks!!! 👏🏻 ✈️ 🇨🇦

Day 72.

Evening update:

Jack moved about one meter today in physio! Apparently it took him 10 minutes of squirming, nudging, and inching his way across the mat to do it, but he did it!!

His music therapist and OT both commented on how they saw him moving his legs better, using his left hand more, and becoming stronger.

He loves being around other kids so I’m really looking forward to getting home and spending time with all his little buddies we’ve been missing! Finished the day together in the pool, and while I tried to get him to chase floating balls around, he was more interested in watching the other kids.

Today Jack was really vocal about anything he didn’t want to do. He had no problems sharing his opinion. But he also seems to be sharing what he does want- I noticed a lot of holding his hands up towards things he wanted with a “dat!” attached.

I say bring it, little boy, you don’t want baby food and you do want banana? Dem bananas are aaalllll yours!
